Why should you still get your car cleaned and detailed in the winter?
Washington winters can be extremely harsh on car paint. The wet conditions promotes contamination from the roads to stick to the paint if not properly protected beforehand. And if the car is not washed regularly, the protection might not last. This is especially true on the interior where this can cause excessive wear on carpeted floor mats and cloth seats which after a while, are extremely difficult to get fully clean. With leather, lack of proper care can result in excessive contamination and wear. One more thing to add is carpet and leather are some of the most odor absorbent materials in the car so keeping them clean and protected is a must. For the exterior, I recommend getting any package that includes a wax or the soon-to-be-released ceramic coating. These items can keep the paint protected through the winter and grime that goes along with it. For the interior, getting any of the services that include interior is good as the carpets will be thoroughly cleaned and leather seats and plastics cleaned and protected.
